Bonus Play off the RigorSports card today for the forum.

The Yankees travel to Boston to take on the Red Sox. The Yankees come in sitting at 56 - 56 hanging tough in the playoff picture but likely fading away by the end of the month. The Yanks will send young fire baller Nathan Eovaldi to the mound to face off against the rival Red Sox. Eovaldi leads the team in wins with a 9 - 8 record on the season. Lifetime ERA in Fenway is 5.94.

The Red Sox traded with the Padres for Drew Pomeranz in hopes he could fill the number 3 spot. He's been dreadful in his four starts with the Sox surrendering 14 earned runs in 20.1 innings coughing up 5 long balls. His ERA sits at 6.20 since joining the Red Sox. The Red Sox suspect they received damaged goods in the trade with the Padres. We think otherwise as Pomeranz may have benefited from pitching in the light hitting NL West.

We expect a couple homerun balls in this one and these two teams can light up the scoreboard when facing each other. Pomeranz not likely to figure it our now and Eovaldi likely to surrender 3 - 4 runs himself.
